The Ghana Network for Peacebuilding – WANEP Ghana (GHANEP) is a non-profit making peacebuilding Non-Governmental Organization established in 2002 and Incorporated under the corporate laws of the Republic of Ghana in 2003 as a civil society’s effort to prevent, resolve, and transform violent conflicts through collective and coordinated efforts of non-governmental institutions, organizations and individuals actively engaged in peacebuilding practice in Ghana.
GHANEP seeks to facilitate the creation of a sustainable culture of non-violence, justice, peace and social reconciliation in Ghanaian communities by ensuring coordination and effectiveness among peacebuilding practitioners in order to avoid duplication of efforts and maximize resources for more effective responses to conflict situations.

Our mission is to contribute to the achievement of sustainable peace and human security through coordination, networking and capacity strengthening of members and groups to proactively detect and respond to conflicts non-violently
